Preseli Wellbeing was founded by Jo Hobson, a specialist in preventative health and community wellbeing with extensive experience across rural Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Carmarthenshire.
Working within a social model of health, we help organisations understand and respond to the wellbeing needs of the communities they serve — combining lived experience, strategic thinking, and a deep knowledge of the Welsh third sector.
Our work is shaped by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, ensuring every piece of consultancy contributes to lasting, sustainable change.

Our approach
We see health as shaped by the conditions in which people live — not just individual behaviour. Our work addresses the wider determinants.
The communities we work with are experts in their own lives. Co-production and genuine participation are non-negotiable.
We understand the distinct challenges of rurality — isolation, transport, digital exclusion — and design with those realities in mind.
Every piece of work is considered against the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act — ensuring lasting, sustainable impact.
